Search Engine Optimisation is often used as magic word which should draw out some money from your wallet, but what is really important? There are many ways to take better rank in web search engines like Google or Yahoo, and some can be done only by owner of website (copywriting and generally good quality of content, backlinks etc.), but with some of that can help you web designer too. About one possibility we are writing on another place. The second one is well-written code. For you (if you are only user) is complicated to recognize poor or good code, but one you can see for sure:

• Use Mozilla browser, go to your (any) webpage, click View -> Source code (don't hesitate of this mess) and... what you see?

If there (inside the mess) are all informations you expected (all human-readable text, include menus) is - at this point - everything OK. If you are see only code, there could be a big trouble, because search engine's robot can see exactly the same. And no words inside code means no keywords in searching results! How proof that? Simply:

• Choose some text on webpage (long sentence) and put it into Google in that way: "some text from the webpage exactly as it shown", use COPY and PASTE and keep text into quotes. This will tell Google to search exact phrase.

When you will try do that with webpages that we have made (www.noble-drinks.co.uk in example), you can choose as phrase in example: "Let yourself and your guests enjoy". You will get this result (now is not important, that is this page on first place in Google - you everytime should try choose phrase which is unique in whole Internet):
